We make it a priority to thoroughly understand the project's objective in order to tailor a scope and team that will provide the greatest value to our client.
Provide a market overview and conduct comprehensive investigation on the investment opportunities of the agreed technology. We will develop high-level concepts and evaluate their benefits and drawbacks from a technical and commercial standpoint. Sensitivity analysis will also be carried out to provide additional insights of the project uncertainties to aid in business decision-making.
We conduct due diligence study at different stages of a project's lifecycle, whether it is greenfield or brownfield. Our assessment encompasses all technical aspects of the project, including site assessment, technology selection and design review, contract review (including EPC and O&M), energy yield assessment, financial modelling, and project scheduling, to highlight key risk areas and associated mitigation plan.
Determine the optimal system configuration based on technology that has been selected or that has recently become available on the market. This configuration is then refined into the layout of the project site layout and single line drawings. Internal intelligence will be used to determine the optimal solution based on the constraints of the project and its economic viability. Deliverables completed will be sufficient to initiate the Development Approval, grid-connection , and non-bidding EPC processes.
Solar resource assessment will be conducted to provide a comparison and quantification for the degree of uncertainty associated with each resource. Energy yield modelling will then be conducted based on the selected solar resource using the most recent version of the PVsyst software in conjunction with PCC's intelligence tools to determine the project's energy yield. Monte Carlo simulations will be performed to determine output under various uncertainties.
Prepare a technical specification outlining the requirements for equipment selection and installation. We will manage the tendering process and assist the EPC selection process by providing independent technical evaluations and feedback on each submission.
Outline a connection process framework required by the NSP and AEMO. PCC will provide assistance throughout the connection process, beginning with the connection inquiry up until signing and acceptance of the connection offer. We will project manage the connection process by assisting in the preparation of connection documentation as well as liaising with NSP and AEMO to resolve any technical issues.
Kick-off with design optimisation with an emphasis on technical compliance, constructability, and safety. PCC will then develop a detailed design based on the optimised solution incorporating all equipment requirements, the project technical specifications, and any relevant standards. Our key focus is on the constructability and safety of the design.
Undertake performance analysis using a state-of-the-art machine learning in-house tool developed by PCC to identify anomalies and issues that occurred during the monitored period. Perform site visits to investigate and report on general defects and potential issues and identify areas for improvement.
Independent assessment to calculate performance ratio (PR) in accordance with the conditions specified in the EPC contract or in accordance with IEC standards. We will identify anomalies andto provide a future generation forecast using a state-of-the-art machine learning tool developed by PCC.
